We have had to take additional precautionary measures to ensure that we can still operate in a safe manner.
We need to ensure the welfare of our team, their families and of course our customers during this very difficult period. To this end we have put the following procedures in place:
We will be working with the absolute minimum number of staff that we can in the office and warehouse. Those that are able to work from home will continue to do so. This may mean that there will be a delay in responding to phone calls and enquiries but we will do everything we can to reply in a timely manner.
Our packaging for infectious and biological substances is a priority for us and we will continue to provide these products to the hospitals and laboratories that require them. Due to the high demand for these products we may need to limit what we are able to provide but we are monitoring the stock situation and will advise accordingly.
Deliveries made on our own vehicles will continue to run however we will not be providing hard copies of delivery notes. Paperwork will be sent electronically and you will be asked for an email address for this to be sent to when you place your order. Our drivers have been instructed to stay 2 metres (6ft) away from any other members of staff and customers. They will therefore only open the vehicle for unloading when it is safe to do so and will remain in their cab at all other times. The name of the person who has unloaded the delivery will be taken by our driver and hand written onto our copy of the paperwork.
Any deliveries sent by dedicated courier will be done in accordance with their own procedures and we will advise if any special measures need to be taken.
Pallet and parcel services will operate in the normal manner. If you require the delivery note to be sent electronically please advise us at the time of placing your order.
These procedures will remain in place until further notice and we will update you should they change. We wish you all the very best of health.
